Lissa Meyer
loves her job as an administrative assistant for a financial advisor...but her
real passion is to be on the big stage. An aspiring singer, Lissa was opener
for Bucky Covington at the Kick’n Up Kountry Festival in 2008. She also won the
2009 Fargo Star singing contest and recorded her first CD of karaoke-style
songs...selling nearly 200 copies!
Lissa grew up on a farm in central
Minnesota
and graduated with honors from Concordia
College in
Moorhead. She says that she has constantly been on a diet
her entire life, trying weight-loss programs, medication, herbal supplements and
even surgery. Lissa has many reasons for losing weight to become fit and
healthy, but the three most important reasons are her nephews and niece who want
Lissa to play with them. |
