One woman is finding her own way to honor a deputy shot in the line of duty. Mahnomen County Deputy Chris Dewey was shot in the head and abdomen in February 2009. Charene Vogel of Audubon, Minnesota will be hosting a vigil on Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes Thursday night to celebrate Dewey's life.

Lisbon man charged in fatal car-cycle accident

A man is charged with aggravated reckless driving for a collision that killed a couple riding on their motorcycle. Authorities say Neil Walton of Lisbon, North Dakota, was driving a pickup and ran a stop sign at the junction of Highway 81 and a Cass County road near Oxbow-Hickson on April 18th.

Lifeguards revive boy pulled from pool

A six year-old boy was airlifted to a Fargo hospital after a near-drowning at the muncipal swimming pool in Casselton this afternoon. Lifeguards did CPR and the boy started to breathe on his own after a couple of minutes.

A teenage boy was arrested for drunk driving and an adult female was hospitalized after the car they were in hit a house on the north side of Grand Forks. Police say the 17-year-old driver had been northbound on 20th Street and turned west into an alley when he hit the corner of the building.
