MSUM Athletics Director Doug Peters announced on Thursday that Stu Engen's contract will not be renewed for the 2010-11 season. Engen served as MSUM's Head Men's Basketball Coach for eight seasons.
"We have chosen to go in a new direction," Peters said. "We wish Coach Engen and his family well and appreciate the service he has provided our University. "
The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons athletics department will begin the process of filling the head men's basketball coach immediately.
