UND loses Tibesar for season finale

North Dakota tight end Marcus Tibesar will not play in the season finale after breaking his leg in last Saturday's game against UC Davis.

The senior captain initially thought he sprained his ankle and kept playing. He discovered on Sunday that he had a broken fibula, which ends his college career.

Head coach Chris Mussman says the discovery was a tough moment for both him and Tibesar. But he says Tibesar had a great career.

UND ends its season Nov. 28 at Central Arkansas.
