Quick thinking helped a nine year old girl escape an attempted abduction. The girl was the last child waiting outside to be picked up by her parents after dance class at this church.
Police say the man told her to get in his car, because her mother wanted her to go with him. Lt. Tory Jacobson, MPD, "We do have these types of reports come in from time to time, and we take them very seriously."
The little girl told the man his story wasn't true and ran inside. He drove off. She says the car was a light blue or light teal four-door passenger car. The man was white, with black hair, wearing a purple and yellow Vikings shirt and a purple Vikings cap. She says she saw a tattoo of a snake on his chest.
