Her mother, Sylvana was diagnosed with cervical cancer six years ago. But in the last couple of weeks, this preemie has shown she is just as strong as her mom.
Sylvana Riddle, Kira's mom says, "My first doctor told me I shouldn't get pregnant because I wouldn't be able to carry a baby. She'd had problems like cerebral palsy and be born at five, six months. But we proved her wrong obviously."
Because she is a preemie, Kira's mom says she will be needing therapy to help her move better and grow.
