Some North Dakota national guardsmen took on a special holiday mission today. They took Christmas gifts to residents at the North Dakota Veterans' Home in Lisbon. Thirty-five guardsmen from Fargo, Bismarck, and Lisbon hand-delivered the gifts during an afternoon ceremony.
Gerald Miller, North Dakota National Guard, "There's a lot of vets that are that do not have any family that they're reaching and the only way they can reach out is through us.
And it really makes us feel good to come down and just to do this little bit of a mission."
