A crash on icy roads Friday killed two family members, and left another injured.
It happened on Highway 210 near French, Minnesota, shortly before 1pm.
63-year-old Larry Smith, of Doran, Minnesoata, died Friday night while being taken to a Twin Cities hospital for treatment.
89-year-old Bernice Smith, of Doran, died Friday night at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened when Larry Smith lost control of his GMC pickup, spun out, and went into the eastbound lanes, where the truck was hit by a Jeep driven by 19-year-old Todd Orme, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
Orme suffered minor injuries.
58-year-old Peggy Smith, of Doran, was also a passenger in the pickup.
She suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
