A negligent homicide charge has been filed against the driver of a beet truck involved in a fatal accident.
52-year-old Cathleen Dean of Barney, ND is accused in the death of Antoinette Gjesdal on September 29th. Investigators say dean failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of the 210 bypass and 16th Avenue north in Wahpeton and struck Gjesdal's vehicle on the driver's side.
The charge is a felony. Dean made an initial appearance in southeast district court today after being served early this morning.
