A Grafton man has been charged with two counts of negligent homicide in the deaths of two people in a minivan-motorcycle crash in Walsh County.
Authorities say John Klava was driving the minivan on U.S. Highway 81 north of Minto on July 17 when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Bryant Watts of St. Thomas.
Watts was killed along with his 46-year-old wife, Cynthia, a passenger on the bike.
Klava, who was 38 at the time of the crash, faces up to five years in prison on each count if convicted. His bond was set at $25,000.
