The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 63-year-old Darrell Ramstad, of Hunter, North Dakota, died after the car he was driving was hit by a pickup Saturday afternoon. It happened on Highway 18, north of Casselton. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Ramstad failed to yield at a stop sign while crossing Highway 18, and the pickup hit the driver's side of the car. He was not wearing a seat belt, and was ejected.
Three people were in the pickup. One suffered minor injuries. Names have not been released.
