Some in line for fine rebates owe child support

More than 100 people who were in line for refunds when Fargo was overcharging for traffic citations owe chld support. State Child Support Enforcement director Mike Schwindt says 118 people on the list are behind on payments. Federal Judge Ralph Erickson allowed access to the 13,000 names for child support enforcement purposes only. Fargo is returning more than $1 million to people who paid more for traffic fines than the state allows. |
