The dominant "No" votes came from the entire north side of town, the Second Ward's Meadow Golf Course area, as well as Dilworth, Georgetown and Sabin.

"Yes" votes came from Moorhead's entire south side Third Ward along the river, most of the Fourth Ward in the southeast part of town, and the Second Ward's Knapp/Comstock and MSUM neighborhoods.
The dominant "No" votes came from the entire north side of town, the Second Ward's Meadow Golf Course area, as well as Dilworth, Georgetown and Sabin.
District superintendent Lynn Kovash is disappointed. "You have to look for ways to increase revenue," she says. "We need to get people to understand that students here deserve the same opportunities as every other district in the state."
School officials say they'll have to cut programs and services, and perhaps positions as well, depending on November's audit. They say with this vote, there's no way they can maintain quality of services at the district.
More than a third of the registered voters in the Moorhead School District cast ballots Tuesday.
