Stueland wins Moorhead's First Ward seat

Moorhead's First Ward seat up for grabs tonight goes to Luther Stueland. He won with 729 votes. Daniel Bacon was second with 610 and John Graves was third with 131. Stueland garnered the most votes in the first (Moorhead Country Club area) and second (northeast Moorhead) precincts. Bacon took the third precinct, which is the downtown area on Moorhead's north side. Graves was last in all three precincts. About a third of the First Ward's 4,200 registered voters cast ballots Tuesday. |
