City of Moorhead to begin work on 21st Street underpass

The city of Moorhead is ready to begin work on the 21st Street underpass. All that's standing in the way is federal money.

Mayor Mark Voxland hopes that federal funding will be on the way next year. The $30 million project is expected to take about two-and-a-half years to complete.

Voxland says safety is the main reason they want the underpass put in.
