Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has known Rove more than 35 years. Stenehjem will introduce Rove during the induction at the annual Norsk Hostfest.
North Dakota Democratic Party Director Joe Aronson calls Rove a ``political attack dog.'' He says elected public officials in North Dakota should distance themselves from Rove.
Rove would not respond to the Democratic criticism. He says the honor is more for his stepfather, who died in 2004.
